A Family Friendly garden celebration
Join us as we celebrate the christening of our Hildegarden and the feast day of St. Hildegard of Bingen! We're offering workshops, a tour of the garden, hands-on projects, and will conclude with a ceremonial blessing of the Hildegarden followed by a potluck dinner. See below for workshop details, and make sure to register for the workshops! The event is free to attend, though some workshops have a suggested donation; this will go towards continuing to build more regenerative and integrative systems in the Hildegarden!
Tea Blending & Tasting Workshop with Lori Ann

Garden Bunnies with Mary
Are you interested in learning about using animals in your regenerative garden system? Join Mary as she shows our bunny systems and talks about how they feed the garden. Participants will be invited to pet and feed the bunnies!
4-5pm Garden Craft Hour
You're invited to decorate a stepping stone for the garden. We will have glass, beads, stamps, etc. for you to use. Next time you visit you can go on a scavenger hunt to find where in the garden your stepping stone lives!
Paper Pot Planters
We will construct paper pots from newspaper and sow lettuce and other greens seeds in them. Each participant will get to take a couple of pots home with them.
Make a flower crown! We'll have a few options from the garden and prairie to craft your own flower crown.
Suggested $10 donation for supplies - covers all 3 crafts!
Garlic Planting with Katherine
Learn how easy it is to grow garlic and help us get our garlic in the ground for an early summer harvest next year! Bring sunscreen and the desire to get your hands dirty (or gloves if that's not your thing).
Garden Tour with Katherine
Are you interested in adding regenerative elements to your home garden? Join us for a garden tour, and see the steps we're taking to rebuild our soil and create sustainable and integrative systems throughout the garden!
Hildegarden Dedication with the Residential Community
We will do a special blessing for the garden, christening it the Hildegarden in honor of St. Hildegard.
We will share a meal together outside in the shade. Please bring a dish to share!
Women's Full Moon Hike with Women of the Woods
Our women's group would love to have you join us for a Full Moon Hike! Bring a headlamp (red light is best) and meet at the parking lot near the Library.
