Wild Art Camp

Details

**use the arrows above to scroll through a gallery of photos from past sessions!** Join our staff, including wildcrafters, our artist-in-residence, and Forest School facilitators, for a magical day of transforming plants into works of art! We'll play games to learn about wild foraging safety and reciprocity, go on a hunt for plants with edible and craft use, and transform what we find into snacks as well as artistic creations to be proud of. This year's theme is Prairie Grasses, so we'll be foraging in the prairie, weaving with grasses, and making 2 dimensional art with the unique shapes of many of our 10 native grasses as well as wild forbs and legumes! When: This one-day camp takes place 10am - 4pm on July 20th. Who: Caregivers can enroll a student age 9+ and drop them off for the full day (indoor space is available to caregivers whose students are in class). Ages 5-8 may attend this session with a caregiver also attending. Adults may also enroll to attend without a child. Class size is limited for the best experience. handbook: You'll need to read our school Handbook linked during checkout. To hold your spot, complete the waiver on the final page BEFORE completing your enrollment. **If a session is full but you are interested in joining, please watch your email for notices about spots that open up!**
