St. Francis of the Woods is an ecumenical spiritual retreat center. We have space for individuals or groups. It is a place where all persons from every background are welcomed. St. Francis of Assisi believed that God's fingerprints were all over creation. In nature, he connected to the Divine Love that connects all things. St. Francis of the Woods seeks to be a place where all people from every spiritual background can seek the Love of the Creator in creation. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are invited to visit any time.
St. Francis of the Woods features three cabins and two lodges, as well as the Upper Room (above the Learning Center) to accommodate overnight retreats for groups or individuals. All lodging facilities have a kitchen equipped with cooking and eating utensils. Linens and towels are provided for all guests. Food is not provided, but visitors are welcome to join us for lunch on Wednesdays and Sundays at noon in the Learning Center.
The Learning Center or Upper Room are great spaces to hold workshops and retreats.
